Camp Durant "Live" Weather

This year the troop is going to Camp Durant [Directions]. Summer camp is June 19 - 25, 2005. The camp is located in Moore County, near Carthage, NC and is approximately 78 miles from St Raphaels.

Merit Badges
Scouts should have already made their merit badge selections. Guidance is available at merit badge "dot" com. The first page is a complete list of all merit badges currently available, with the Eagle required listed in bold letters. After choosing your merit badge, it takes you to a page that lists the complete requirements for that badge, and at the bottom gives you topical links that would be of interest and relative to that badge, as well as a listing of other similar badges and then a link of merit badge helpers such as worksheets, tips, etc.

Payments
A $50.00 deposit per person attending camp is due by March 15, 2005 and the second $50.00 payment is due April 25, 2005. The balance is due by May 16.

Mandatory Parents Meeting
A meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 13 in order to complete all the necessary paperwork. All attending camp are required to have a completed physical form signed by your doctor. Forms are available in the Forms section of this site.
